In case the Intentions of the PLO and Hamas were not clear:

"We will rule the nations, by Allah's will, the USA will be conquered, Israel will be conquered, Rome and Britain will be conquered…" pronounces a reclining Ghalban in the video, promising to "crush the Jews and expel them from our country Palestine." He adds, "Just as the Jews ran from Gaza, the Americans will run from Iraq and Afghanistan…"

According to PMW, the video was produced by the Al-Qassam Brigades terrorist group, the military wing of Hamas.

Yeah ... go back to praying for your virgins. The silly christians had the same thought 1500 years ago and I am sure some other religion before that.

try saying that when you live where i live mate

we're not allowed to have a gun and its happening on my doorstep. By the time my son's my age they'll outnumber us.

We've been invaded and we never noticed.

Ah, wonderful. I'm curious: why do you want a gun? Are you afraid people like me - those from Asian countries who have been raised here - are going to attack you when you least expect it?

My parents moved here over thirty years ago, and have contributed to the country in numerous ways ever since. If you ask me, England isn't turning Indian, or Pakistani, or Bangladeshi, or Arabic. We're turning English. And I, for one, am proud of that.

i don't want a gun, guess that was a bit of a silly remark and i'm not afraid of people like yourself who were born and raised here and contribute so much to the community.

what i am afraid of is that it would be very easy for fundamentalist groups to operate in our country because there are so many different ethnic groups here. also i think they are more likely to drum up support for their cause in areas where there is racial tension.

a friend of mine was beaten up by a gang of taxi drivers. it was a racist attack and he's now afraid to go out like we used to. it's unreasonable to assume that all non-whites living in england are capable of such acts, just as it is unreasonable to assume that any white male with a shaven head is a nazi.

we are living in dangerous times and the comment above seemed to trivialise this.

my comment was not intended to offend and i offer sincere apologies if i have caused offence.

i must remember to engage brain before mouth.

      Glad to hear it. :-)

There have been quite a few documentaries about extremist groups since 7/7. You'll find 99% of ethnic minorities in the country don't like the idea of extremism. Tony Blair has repeatedly said extremists will be deported. You're still not safe, and you never will be as long as someone thinks he can blame someone else for his misfortunes, be he African, European, Asian or Martian, but this doesn't mean England is being overrun. It's been that way throughout history, and it's survived thus far.

Well, except for all those invasions, but they were over a thousand years ago. Well, the last one was 940 years ago, to be exact, but whatever. :-)

you'd think that humanity would learn from its mistakes but alas, the race towards power and wealth goes ever onward, squashing the innocent who happen to be in the way.

is there any hope for us as a species or would mother earth benefit from a global abortion?

This comment from a fundamentalist Muslim is no different from the Bushies' comments saying that God inspires them to want to crush fundamentalist Islam, cram American styled democracy down every Muslim's throat whether they want it or not and expel religious extremists from power everywhere by force.
Thinking Americans should take the time, after the mandatory shock and hand wringing such comments are sure to elicit, to compare it to a few of the speeches and papers from the Bushies' library of ill-concieved ideas. If they are honest, they will see little difference save the religion and the colors of the skin and flags.

although the translation fo the quote is in dispute, this is what I and the above poster were thinking of
            "
"God told me to strike at al Qaeda and I struck them, and then he instructed me to strike at Saddam [Hussein], which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to focus on them."

Sorry your quote first of all didn't provide a link to the text and also failed to prove Bush intended to "cram American styled democracy down every Muslim's throat whether they want it or not.

I too would love to see where you think Bush has said this. You respond earlier with coments about freedom, but those are not the same thing. Bush has also said he does NOT expect Iraq (for example) to develop an American style of government but rather their own style of democracy.

To all those requesting proof that the Bush wants to put the hammer down on the Muslims... please note:
I my original post I wrote "the Bushies'" (Plural Possesive) referring to the entire administration which is chock-full of Jewish Zionists, PNAC signers and born-again Christian Zionists
I am of the opinion that Bush is a pretty dim bulb and that virtually none of the policy comes from him directly.

We have been hearing such trash for a long time now. Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto when he was Foreign Minister of Pakistan, once addressing UN General Assembly challenged Sardar Swaran Singh, Indian Foreign Minister, and boasted of waging a hundred years of Jihad against India. In order to taunt and insult the august International Forum he took off his shoe and placed it on the table. Mr. Bhutto eventually became Prime Minister of Pakistan. You know what happened to him ? He was hanged by his own Army Chief General Haq in a Prison after a so called secret military trial. Human history is evident that this is exactly what happens to such maniacs.

Once again mudddying of issues by pointing out such amazing facts as Hamas (an Islamic based resistance organisation with various sections and wings) having at least one religious crazy in the party willing to use his zeal to rouse up some of his base. What a surprise - I know you've seen the Republican party do similar things in the states - just look at Fox news, Pat Robertson, blah blah blah.

But Yaakov why the sloppy lumping of the PLO in the comment - I wasn't able to watch the video but the article says that it's a collection of a dead Hamas (militant I'm assuming) leader's previous video statements so I will assume they include much from before their election. Wow.

Can you really not see any differences between the PLO and Hamas - do you not know why Hamas was elected ?
Do you insist it is because Palestinians have no real interest in being liberated from occupation and are focussed on starting a world-wide war on western civilisation? This is what follows from posts of this kind which I want to file under C for CRACKPOT unless you can argue otherwise.

By the way you should inform the indiginous peoples of the world (e.g. Native Americans, Australian Aborigines) that you support their exception from any legal framework as they do what they want on their land.

At least the muslims aren't bound by the invisible crippling laws of politically correctness that bind the US from actually admitting the real enemy is radical islam and doing something about it directly. The muslims will flat out admit this is a holy war against Christianity and the west.

Sources? How about the world around you? Take your head out of a book and look at reality. Radical Islam is knocking at the doors and is speaking openly about their goals. It's time to wake up to it.

How will they beat us culturally and economically? Are they going to make the American culture "less" American?

By out populating everyone for one. They seep into a society and refuse to assimilate, and breed like crazy forcing the culture to wrap (warp?) around them instead of vice versa. They pressure the culture into their ways and beliefs (their stated goal of islam as the dominant world religion / down with christians, etc). They are relying on the US and the West's crippled stance of political correctness. We're so worried about offending someone, so we will just act like reality isn't happening. It's not a bring & fluffy nice world... it's cold and dark and they're knocking at our doorsteps.

Like I said, they'll never beat us with bombs and guns... but they'll erode us from the inside out.

No it's not. But that doesn't mean we can just forget political correctness. Dealing carefully with the populace of the Middle East is just as important, if not moreso, than dealing with Middle Eastern governments. If the people of the Middle East regard us as occupiers out to control them, they will not hesitate to resist / fight back. We need to show them on some level that we understand their beliefs and that we are not out to eradicate them.

Obviously this conflicts greatly with cherished Western ideals (remember the Danish cartoons). I'm not advocating silencing those ideals for people in another area of the globe, but we need to find a balance to show that we are not hostile to their faith while maintaining our founding principles.

For the most part. Although the population of your standard model muslims can be playing into this scheme without being aware of the global impact it's having. Migrating to our country only to segregate themselves and not assimilate into our society and culture (refusing to remove the veils for drivers license photos for example) is almost as bad as trying to undermine the country on purpose.
