Hizballah's Filthy Methods

Enlightening post from a Lebanese political blog regarding how Hizballah uses civilians as shields and cover for launching missiles against Israel (almost always against the will of the civilians) thus putting these civilians in direct danger from Israel.

For the past 11 days, we have seen Israel bomb all sorts of targets and I am sure most of us were wondering why would Israel bomb a certain factory or a construction yard or a truck. If we can for a moment turn off all the local and international channels who have nothing to do but show little dead children and dismembered bodies that touch the viewer to a certain degree that it would blind them, and think about the reasons behind those hits.

We have seen Israel for example hitting a tissue factory in a small village in the south. The reason for that would be Hezbollah move around with a missile in a truck, park near a factory and fire a rocket then flee. The origin of the rocket being the factory, Israelis respond by hitting it.

A witness to a similar action went on TV and urged Hezbollah fighters to stop coming into his village to shoot rockets and then run away since the village is being destroyed.

Innocent people are dying this is true, but I believe the way Hezbollah is operating and its filthy methods in infiltrating villages and using them as launch positions is causing all those casualties.

So the Israeli army knows full well that Hezbollah is firing rockets and fleeing immediately, yet they still bomb the building where the rocket came from? And somehow you're arguing that it is Hezbollah who are the filthy ones? I can understand if this happened in the first couple days and the Israeli army were slow to pick up on this tactic, but now that they know they just continue to bomb the area. Hezbollah are only firing rockets from the south of Lebanon, so why is Israel bombing civilian homes all over the country? Also you say they're using civilians as "shields", and I don't see where you're drawing that from unless they're actually putting the civilians in front of the bombs...

On the other hand, after banning the use of human shields (I don't know which is more sad, the fact that the supreme court actually had to BAN using Palestinians as human shields, or the fact that the STATE repeatedly requested the supreme court to reconsider the ban, at least the supreme court did the right thing) Israel is http://keld.newsvine.com/_news/2006/07/21/295488-israeli-soldiers-use-civilians-as-human-shields-in-beit-hanun">still using Palestinians as human shields. And this isn't a guerrilla warfare tactic of shoot and run which is putting innocents in harms way. To quote the article:

the soldiers held six residents, two of them minors, on the staircases of the two buildings, at the entrance to rooms in which the soldiers positioned themselves, for some twelve hours. During this time, there were intense exchanges of gunfire between the soldiers and armed Palestinians. The soldiers also demanded that one of the occupants walk in front of them during a search of all the apartments in one of the buildings, after which they released her.

I agree that it is wrong to endanger civilians in the way Hezbollah has, they are by no means saints. But the fact is that by now Israel knows their tactics and they know the amount of innocent Lebanese civilians they've killed, but that hasn't stopped them from constantly bombing the country. I find this kind of behavior much more "filthy".

I would like to see the evidence that Hesbollah is using these tactics anyway. For example, I can hardly believe that Hebollah fired a rocket next to a MOVING minibus trying to flee the area.

I also find it very interesting how this story about Hesbollah using civilians as human shields is running everywhere with no proof except the word of Israel of course, and everybody is just taking it for granted.

I forgot to add that the source of this article is the "ouwet". This is a Lebanese (christian fundamentalist) militia that was slaughtering people during the civil war just by looking at their ID to check their religion. This is the militia that committed the Sabra and Shatilla massacre under the orders of Israel ...
What is more ironic, is that this militia had ties with the Nazis during the second world war!

Oh yeah, I would surely trust this source, specially when they provide no proof for their claim.
