In a discovery which has sparked accusations of a
Zionist conspiracy, Dr. Navras Jaat Aafreedi, an
Indian historian, claims he may have found a genetic link between members of his clan in northern India, the now-Muslim Pathans, and one of the ten lost tribes of Israel.

According to Dr. Aafreedi's study, about 650 members of the Afridi Pathan clan in Malihabad, India may possess the genetic material shared by nearly 40% of Jews worldwide. If true, the data would provide additional proof of the clan's connection to the Jewish tribe of Ephraim, Dr. Aafreedi said.
