"Explosive" Ingredients Found Amidst Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

Israel Airports Authority inspectors on Monday discovered two tons of dual-purpose fuel, which can be used to produce Kassam rockets, during a sample check of a humanitarian aid transport vehicle at the Kerem Shalom crossing from Israel into the Gaza Strip.

The Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) launched an investigation to determine the truck's origin and who was behind the transfer. Defense officials said that the incident was alarming and proved that Palestinian terrorists were trying to take advantage of the "humanitarian route" into Gaza for terror purposes.

According to an IAA statement, the vehicle was stopped due to the inspectors' alertness and before it crossed into the Gaza Strip.

The IAA added that this was the second time within a week that its inspectors had discovered a dual-purpose substance on its way to the Palestinian Authority under the cover of humanitarian aid shipments to Gaza.

According to Israel radio, the fertilizer was hidden among bags of flour.

Think twice the next time you read a piece critical of Israel for having the audacity to set up checkpoints around Gaza to check humanitarian aid coming in.

this is crazy, you know i learn something everyday. I read about stuff like this in the history books. smuggling...rockets. This sounds a lot like a war. crazy.

    Of course there is Palestinian terrorists. There are terrorists in EVERY race and in every country.

    And if somebody attacked YOU and YOU decided to fight back...then you would also be called a terrorist.

      both sides kill. definately an unhealthy situation; but which situations aren't unhealthy in such a divided explosive region. taking sides is useless. both sides kill.

        So in other words, in your opinion, Hamas firing missiles at civilian areas and homes, hoping to inflict as much damage as possible and kill as many people as possible, including children in kindergarten and elementary schools and public markets, has the same moral equivalence to Israel targeting the people behind these attacks, while the terrorists are deliberately using civilians as shields, and taking care to inflict as little damage as possible on civilians? Since the actions of both sides result in people dying, taking sides is useless?

            Its all propaganda, because everyone does it. Good journalists and bad, in Israel, Palestine, Qater, Russia, China, and yes, even the United States. No one in the media wants you to see truth. In America for example, we never see the aftermath of US attacks, only suicide attacks. We never see the bodies of fallen soldiers, the coffins coming back in commercial jet luggage storage...

            War will never end until people realize the true cost of war. Then it will be gone, but only until people's memory fades...usually about 20 to 25 years.
