Israel has attempted to deliver humanitarian aid from an international flotilla to Gaza, but Hamas - which controls the territory - has refused to accept the cargo, the Israel Defense Forces said Wednesday.

Palestinian sources said trucks that arrived from Israel at the Rafah terminal at the Israel-Gaza border were barred from delivering the aid over protests that members of the flotilla were not delivering the materials.

Israel had 20 trucks of aid found on the ships, such as expired medications, clothing, blankets, some medical equipment and toys.

Ha!

And the Palestinians still want these "Morons" (Hamas) running things for them?

I agree with Jalmeno! It's Laughable!

Hamas is cutting off its nose to spite its face. Agreed. Laughable.

If the people cheering for Hamas had any idea how bad Hamas was, they would be engulfed in shame and try to off themselves.

We must hide the ridiculousness of Hamas from them in order to save their pathetic lives. Don't let the naive perish by their own hand!

"We refuse to receive the humanitarian aid until all those who were detained aboard the ships are released," said Ahmed Kurd, Minister for Social Welfare in the Hamas government said. "We also insist that the equipment be delivered in its entirety."

Obviously, they've dealt with Israel before...

I noticed there were no missiles, rockets, or guns for hamas on the ships ? just a few slingshots...

Doesn't matter. Israel told them it must be inspected and they refused.

Too bad for the dead and their families.

Sorry "Doctor",

This propaganda operation is in the process of falling flat on its face. Too many cameras to change the story.

Better luck next time.

Not.

I'm glad Hamas refused the Aid shipment. There are plenty of people who would welcome the supplies in Israel. Redistribute it to the charities. Hamas never wanted the actual Aid supplies. They already got what they were after. Publicity stunt, negative press for Israel, and getting the Anti-Semite's panties in a bunch.

Sorry doc. I just saw a video courtesy of krishna which clearly shows the "peace activists" arming themselves for a confrontation. It fits neatly with other videos showing much the same.

No amount of blather on your part is going to convince anyone beyond the most gullible that the Israelis doctored anything.

You people are comically inept, though effective I have to admit.

The more I think about this, the more I wonder if it is really going to matter in the end, how much Israel engages in a media war. Imbeciles are going to be swallowed by lies because they are willing fools. It doesn't seem to matter how true, how well scripted, or how much the Gazans stand to gain---the object is to degrade Israel at any suicidal/sacrificial cost.

it's time let those people live. If Israel will not let them live a happy life then hurry up and drive the arabs in the sea.

If Israel will not let them live a happy life then hurry up and drive the arabs in the sea.

I think you may be confused about who is preventing the Gazans from living a happy life:

Bloody Hands in Gaza - Guess Who?

Some residents of Gaza were taken from their homes and shot in the legs or feet. Some were brutally beaten, and some were simply murdered, sometimes after hideous torture. If you are expecting -- based on everything that has happened -- that the awful Israelis did this, guess again. It was Hamas, the authentic and genuine government of Gaza

The information about the shootings is taken from a report issued yesterday by Human Rights Watch. It says that "Hamas security forces or masked gunmen believed to be with Hamas" executed 18 people, most of whom were accused of collaborating with Israel, sparing the expense and bother of a trial. Others were shot, maimed or beaten, not for allegedly collaborating with the enemy -- or, as is often the case, having a house or woman that a snitch covets -- but for belonging to the opposition political party, Fatah."

    onomatopoeia

krishna, you know the canned response to this will be... "mere Israeli propaganda" ... "HRW is an Israeli outfit" ... "Hamas isn't a terror organization" ... "the Gazans are starving, why do you want them to continue suffering?"

I will give the anti-Israeli propogandists some credit, they have very effectively duped billions of people to believe outright obvious lies. You can show them the videos of women standing right next to piles of food in a market crying "we are starving!!" Unbelievably, these willing dupes will believe it. Israel needs to ramp up their counter propaganda big time now.

"HRW is an Israeli outfit" .

Well, you're right, of course...perhaps people would find a report from al-Jazeera more believable? (or is al Jazeera now also considered to be nothing more than a bunch of "Zionist Poodles"?)

    Suspiciously

it's time let those people live. If Israel will not let them live a happy life then hurry up and drive the arabs in the sea.

These people, as you call them, had a choice years ago. They chose Hamas rule and rebellion! The West Bank should have set an example for them. As for "these people to live a "happy life", that will only come when they see Israel destroyed. So I presume they are living the "unhappy" life that suites them.
